Today, I have a question for my readers. What I would like to ask you all and for you to ask yourselves is what do believe in? To clarify, this is not a question of if you are a Christian, Scientologist, Atheist, or etc. Instead, what I am asking is what set of principles do operate by and use to hold yourself accountable. In my opinion, a great leader must have a vision and plan to achieve their goals but it is imperative that they maintain a personal code of ethos. In today’s world we are so use to broken promises, scandals, and corruption in leadership that we expect it.
Personally, I don’t want to follow anyone if they do not morals nor could I ever trust them. A leader without principles is bound to make those under them suffer and I don’t believe that I am the only person that feels this way. If you are a leader or aspiring towards a leadership role then it is important that you know what it is you stand for and believe to be right. My advice to you is that when you find the time sit down at a desk and write out your own private guidelines of leadership for you to keep and follow.
